Information letter regarding Covid-19

The situation has deteriorated considerably lately because of the spread of the infectious disease Covid-19. Globally and locally, regions have adopted strict approaches to reduce the spread of the Covid-19 disease.

Elvaco's operations are proceeding according to plan, however due to the above, Elvaco has introduced the following measures: 
Social responsibility 
Elvaco monitors developments closely and adjusts operations according to WHO and Public Health Authority guidelines. 

  • Employees who show the slightest symptoms of colds stay at home  
  • Employees must be symptom-free at least two days before returning to work   
  • All meetings should be held virtually, if possible   
  • All employees should work from home if possible   
  • All travel by air and train should be avoided 
  • All international trips have been cancelled  
  • All visits that are not business-critical should be avoided 
  • Extra cleaning in our offices has been introduced and all employees have taken care of hygiene rules to reduce the spread of infection 

Operation & Support 
To maintain a good delivery capacity, half the staff work from home, which minimizes the risk of possible disruptions. So far, we have not had any capacity or quality problems, but should it arise, we will inform as soon as possible. 
Production and subcontractors 
We have ensured that our production facilities in Sweden and Poland have introduced a visitor ban to minimize the risk of possible operational disruptions. We have a close dialogue with our other subcontractors to inquire about the development in order to adapt the business to any disruptions. All consultants should carry out work remotely if possible. 
Short-term impact: 
Since the outbreak of Covid-19 in China, we have been following developments and securing component deliveries on an ongoing basis, which has made it possible to maintain production capacity. At the moment we have minor disruptions and incoming and outgoing deliveries go largely according to plan. 
Long-term impact: 
We expect the production and logistics flow to be affected in the next 3 to 6 months. We will keep customers and partners informed in order to plan accordingly. 
We see that close cooperation with our suppliers, partners and customers can help us through this extraordinary situation. We want to be clear that even if we take action, the situation can change rapidly and we can have production and logistics disruptions, which can significantly impair our delivery capacity. 
In order to maintain good delivery capacity and minimize impact, we ask you to go through the needs you see in the next 3-6 months. By placing orders for services and products as soon as possible, you will help us do a better job and improve the chances of maintaining our delivery capacity.
