With the CMi4160, Elvaco offers a meter communication module that has been specially developed as an easy-to-use and cost-effective solution for transmitting data from the heat meter Diehl Metering SHARKY 775 to a receiving server. The device is mounted internally in the meter and works on the basis of the IoT technology LoRaWAN. The internal Meter Connectivity Module (MCM) is characterized by a long battery life of 11 years, high energy efficiency and a long communication range. Last but not least, the CMi4160 can easily be retrofitted into already installed meters.

To extend the functionality of the SHARKY 775 heat meter from Diehl Metering, the Meter Connectivity Module (MCM) CMi4160 is the ideal solution. The meter communication module enables the transmission of meter data to the received server by mounting it internally in the meter and accessing the LoRaWAN network. The decisive advantages of the CMi4160 are the long communication range, a long battery life of eleven years and the resulting first-class energy efficiency.
The CMi4160 is particularly easy to handle thanks to the NFC configuration, which takes place in conjunction with the associated Elvaco OTC app. In this way, numerous parameters such as the transmission interval can be set individually or the energy-saving EcoMode and the configuration lock can be set up.
