CMeX50

CMeX50

As a wireless M-Bus receiver, the CMeX50 receives and processes signals from up to 800 wireless M-Bus meters in a secure and encrypted manner. Thanks to the wireless technology, the CMeX50 works reliably and can be easily connected to other CMe/CMeX products from Elvaco using the IR interface.

CMeX50 Wireless M-Bus Receiver

CMeX50 is a Wireless M-Bus Receiver which enables a Gateway from Elvaco's CMe Series to communicate with Wireless M-Bus meters. CMeX50 handles up to 800 Wireless M-Bus meters and guarantees safe data transmissions through individual encryption keys. The product is equipped with an IR interface which makes it easy to connect to other CMe/CMeX products without having to use any cables.

With its durable housing made of robust polyamide, the wireless M-Bus receiver is safe from external influences. Thanks to its compact size and low weight, it is also easy and simple to install. The user interface is an LCD display, which provides information about the current status of the CMeX50. The graphics are clearly laid out and the keyboard is equipped with seven illuminated keys that can be used to control the various functions of the CMeX50. In addition, the model is equipped with various electrical connections, such as an M-Bus master port, M-Bus slave port and a USB slave port.

The CMeX50 is an advanced product of M-Bus technology. In the infrastructure network that is used to measure, collect and process consumption data, the model assumes the role of the M-Bus receiver, which is in constant exchange with the M-Bus meters. Up to 800 wireless M-Bus meters can send data to the powerful wireless M-Bus receiver. This is done entirely without cables thanks to a special radio profile on which Wireless M-Bus technology is based. The useful IR interface also enables the wireless M-Bus receiver to be connected to other CMe/CMeX products. While a robust plastic housing protects the hardware, an LCD display with a resolution of 128x64 pixels, a monochrome color scheme and an illuminated keyboard act as a user interface directly on the device.
