CMi-Box Receiver

CMi-Box Receiver

The CMi-Box Receiver is a powerful wireless M-Bus receiver, which is housed in a ready-to-install polycarbonate casing. When used in combination with an Elvaco CMe gateway, it processes meter data for electricity, water, gas and heating, using radio technology to handle up to 800 wireless M-Bus meters that are connected to it.

CMi-Box Wireless M-Bus Receiver

This CMi-Box is made up of a Wireless M-Bus Receiver mounted in a protective enclosure. The product can be used with a Gateway from Elvaco's CMe Series to enable communication with Wireless M-Bus meters. CMi-Box handles up to 800 meters, each one secured by individual encryption keys.

The wireless M-Bus Receiver comes in different variants that differ in terms of their voltage (24 V or 230 V) and the position of the antenna for wireless data transmission. In addition, customers can choose between conventional models and Enhanced devices.

The CMi-Box’s robust polycarbonate casing provides reliable protection for the M-Bus Receiver. The product is directly mounted on the wall using special brackets. The CMi-Box Receiver has interfaces to a wireless M-Bus receiver and M-Bus slaves.

Transmissions

Elvaco’s powerful CMi-Box Receiver can read data from up to 800 wireless M-Bus meters within the remote meter reading infrastructure. The device uses a radio signal that does not require cables to be laid for remote meter reading. This greatly simplifies the installation process, reducing installation time and costs.

The CMi-Box Receiver works in conjunction with a gateway from Elvaco’s CMe series, such as the CMe2100 or CMe3100model. This combination makes it possible to process the recipient’s data. The security of the transmitted meter data is guaranteed thanks to individual encryption keys.

The wireless M-Bus Receiver is housed in a high-quality, durable casing made of polycarbonate. This is permanently mounted on the wall in the desired position. Interfaces to a wireless M-Bus receiver and the M-Bus meters enable flawless device communication in the metering infrastructure.

Numerous product variants with different voltage and antenna options ensure that you always have the right CMi-Box Receiver solution for your individual use case.
