CMe3100

CMe3100

The CMe3100 M-Bus Metering Gateway is a first-class solution for remote meter reading. Depending on the product version, the device can read up to 512 meters that use M-Bus standard protocol and can connect to a fixed network, providing a comprehensive meter reading solution. Once recorded, the meter data is compiled in customised reports according to predefined rules and then delivered to a receiving system in real time.

CMe3100 M-Bus Metering Gateway for Fixed Network

CMe3100 is an M-Bus Metering Gateway for Fixed Network that reads up to 512 meters, compiles meter data in customized reports and delivers it to a receiving system by a set schedule and integration protocol via the fixed network. It is compatible with all meters that use the M-Bus standard protocol and Elvaco's CMe/CMeX Series. CMe3100 is easily configured and updated through its web interface and supports a wide range of integration protocols, such as BACnet, ModBus, DLMS, JSON and REST, which makes it a viable solution for many different types of metering projects. Through the continuous readout feature, meter data can be delivered in real-time, which might for example be used in an automatic control system. CMe3100 is equipped with a flexible licensing scheme, which allows for a cost-effective customization at the purchase point as well as the possibility to later extend the product functionality without changing the hardware.

Available in different versions, the CMe3100 M-Bus Metering Gateway for Fixed Networks can be optimally adapted to the customer’s metering needs. While the simplest model can be simultaneously connected to a maximum of eight M-Bus/wM-Bus meters, the largest version allows for linking with up to 512 meters. In this way, the entire infrastructure can be networked using a single device, which makes remote meter reading not just possible but simple too.

A robust casing made of polyamide ensures maximum longevity and optimum protection for the electronics. The M-Bus Gateway can also be easily mounted on a DIN rail. A system of multicoloured LEDs provides an overview of the current Ethernet and USB status as well as any errors. An integrated push button can be used to reset the device to its factory state.

Elvaco’s CMe3100 model is an M-Bus metering gateway for a fixed network that can reliably read up to 512 M-Bus/wM-Bus meters. The CMe3100 uses the collected meter data to compile customised reports, which are then delivered in real time to a receiving system based on the customer’s needs. Elvaco’s M-Bus Gateway makes use of automated processes that run according to a set schedule and integration protocol. The CMe3100 is easily configured through a web interface. This is compatible with a wide range of integration protocols, from ModBus to REST, and also allows for updates to the CMe3100 M-Bus Metering Gateway for Fixed Networks.
